663 million people still lack access to safe drinking water. Membrane water treatment systems represent core technologies for the removal of pathogens or chemicals from water. Developing soft-matter-derived membrane materials with excellent separation efficiencies, high fluxes and antifouling properties has great potential to provide safe drinking water in the future. We develop novel types of nano-structured separation membranes for advanced water treatment applications.
